*PARKER DHE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 28 ga. SN 242167. Beautiful little Parker, built on a DBL “O” frame with lightning cuts on the water table. 26” bbls, with tapered matted rib, DBL ivory beads, single selective trigger & ejectors. It has beautifully figured center crotch cut wood with diamond checkered beavertail forearm and raised teardrop panel pistol grip stock, 14-3/8” over a skeleton butt. It has a large silver initial plate on the bottom. The receiver is very nicely engraved with usual “D”-grade patterns of a setter on the left side, a pointer on the right side and three pheasant on the floorplate. Weight 6 lbs. 2.7 oz. Drop at the heel 2-3/8”, drop at the comb 1-5/8”. Accompanied by an Abercrombie & Fitch chocolate brown leather, English-made case with maroon felt lining, missing all the tools & implements. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbls retain about all of a re-black finish. Receiver retains 70-75% muted original case colors with the balance faded to silver, bright in sheltered areas. Wood is sound and retains about 95% of a fine professionally restored finished. Brilliant shiny bores. Case is extremely fine with a few minor scuffs on the lid. 4-50095 JR756 (15,000-20,000)
