*MASSIVE PARKER BROTHERS P GRADE HAMMER GUN. SN 153741. Cal. 8ga, 32″ bbls with matted, tapered, concave rib, single brass sighting bead, extractors and dbl triggers. Top rib is marked “PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. TWIST”. The “7” size frame has minimal engraving, a zig-zag border and “PARKER BROS.” on each plate. Mounted with lightly figured walnut, blank initial shield on top of wrist, checkered pistol grip with Parker hard rubber grip cap, Parker Dog’s Head hard rubber buttplate, and checkered splinter forend. Bore measurements are not available. Drop at heel: 3-1/4″. Drop at comb: 2-1/8″. Weight: 13lbs. 1oz. LOP 14″. This serial number is not found in Parker Gun Identification and Serialization. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain a dark brown patina with visible twist pattern, bright on bottom where covered with forend, a couple minor nicks & scratches. Receiver has visible orig case colors in protected areas with balance being a brown & silver patina blend. Stock is sound with good checkering, normal nicks, dings & handling marks and retains a fine hand-rubbed oil finish blending with hand-worn patina. Forend is sound with good, slightly worn checkering, some minor nicks, dings & dents and retains a fine hand-rubbed oil finish blending with hand-worn patina.
