LYNN BOGUE HUNT (AMERICAN, 1878 – 1960) RUFFLED GROUSE. Outstanding gouache/watercolor wildlife scene shows a pair of ruffled grouse in a plant and bush landscape. The male is seen preening its feathers while the female is in flight. The ground is covered with leaves and in the background are green leaf plants and small shrubbery. Signed bottom right and dated “1906”. Housed in a fine black and gold molded wood replacement frame with wide linen mat and gold liner.
