FRENCH LOUIS XV FAUX TORTOISE SHELL ORMOLU MOUNTED SHELF CLOCK. Case mounted with a standing angel holding a fern leaf in one hand and upstretched other hand. The white and black porcelain numbers mounted in a brass relief dial. Shaped bezel with ormolu decorative mount. Sun burst and face pendulum. Key is not present. Brass works marked “A D. Mougin” also “E.M 12970:7.7”. SIZE: 29” h x 15-1/2” w x 6” d. CONDITION: Unknown working order. Angel probably had trumpet. Otherwise very good. 9-29286 (2000-3000)
