TWO BLOND GERMAN PARIAN DOLLS. 1) Larger is a young child with center part and molded bangs with the hair swept back covering all but the earlobes and is incised “5” on the back of the shoulder. The shoulder head is mounted on a Kidolene body with joints at the hips and gussets at the knee having bisque lower forearms. 2) Smaller doll is that of a young lady, circa 1870 with pierced ears and elaborately molded hair with vertical curls on the forehead and the ears exposed. She is on an all leather body with bisque forearms and wears a period two-piece printed cotton walking suit. SIZE: 14-1/2″ (36cm) and 12-1/2″ (32cm) respectively.
