FOUR PIECES OF CHINESE CLOISONNE. 19th century. 1) Including a rare and unusual cloisonne baluster vase. An oval reserve decorated with a female figure in an indigo Kimono amongst cherry blossoms opposing an oval reserve with birds in flight in a night sky. The sides decorated with phoenix’ in flight amongst flower heads on a light indigo ground. 2) The second a cloisonne charger. The central rondel depicting an exotic bird and an insect amongst flowering chrysanthemums on a pale turquoise ground within a wide ivory band decorated with polychrome flowers. All within a deep indigo and black band of flowers. 3)The third a bulbous cloisonne teapot of polychrome floral design overall on a pale turquoise ground, the hinged circular lid with black and brass finial conforming to the c-scrolled handle. 4) A small baluster form floral decorated cloisonne vase with gold and copper flecks throughout on a black and indigo ground. SIZE: 1) 9-3/4″ h. 2) 11-3/4″ dia. 3) 5-1/2″ h. 4) 7″ h. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: 1) Small damages to neck of vase, otherwise very good. 2) Charger with craquelure in central ground, otherwise very good. 3) Teapot with slight denting to rim of lid.
