TWO BANKS OF WALNUT AND PINE DRAWERS FROM AN OHIO APOTHECARY, CIRCA 1850. The two units, each fitted with two rows of overlapping short drawers with porcelain knobs, many with tags reading: “M.T. Hodson & Son, Druggists and Grocers, Pioneer, Ohio,” the drawer fronts grain painted in shades of burnt sienna. Several drawers with gold and black labels describing the contents. SIZE: top cabinet-17-1/2”h x 71”l x 14”d, bottom cabinet- 17”h x 65-1/2”l x 13”d. CONDITION: These architectural cabinets were built in, and when removed, finished sides were added. Top surfaces of each unit retain a cleaned walnut surface, labels, knobs, and cabinets in general show normal amounts of wear. 9-90726 MD (3,000-5,000)
