Carved and seamed of two solid pieces clearly depicting heel and sole, mounted with a wrought-iron ring, suspended from a wrought iron bracket. PROVENANCE: From the collection of John Kenneth Byard (Connecticut, 1886-1959). SIZE: Boot 18” h. Overall 21-1/2” x 19”. CONDITION: Brown paint over gold paint with paint losses, minor shrinkage split to seam, overall very good condition. 9-90113 MD (800-1,200)
