RARE PAINTED “SAFE DEPOSIT” STILL BANK. This rare cast iron still bank was made by the Henry C. Hart Mfg. Co. of Detroit, MI , and so marked on the bottom together with “Pat. Appl’d. For”. This piece is black with gold highlight. The very top four panels of the bank have beautiful lithographed paper inserts of European scenes. SIZE: 5 1/4″h x 4″ w x 4″d. CONDITION: There is a crack approx. 2″ in length in the upper right quadrant on the rear of the bank. Believed to be all original paint and generally very good condition. 2-85366 (200-400)
