LOT OF TWO FRAMED HAND COLORED PHOTOGRAPHS OF INDIANS. Both images are 9″ x 7″, framed in wide dark oak frames. (1) Titled “Black Bear / Sioux” with copyright “1899 F.A. Rinehart, Omaha”. The image is of an Indian in colorful war bonnet with beaded buckskin shirt holding a pipe. Only part of the photo is colored in with the rest being black & white. (2) Titled “Chief Wolf Robe / Cheyenne” with copyright “1898 F.A. Rinehart, Omaha”. The image is of an Indian man with long braids and a single feather in his hair wearing a plain vest with a green shirt and red neckerchief with a slide. He also has a peace medal on a ribbon around his neck. The entire image is hand colored. CONDITION: Both photos seem to be in fine condition as are the frames. 4-54525 4-54526 JR433 (200-400)
