SIGNED HANDEL FLOOR LAMP. Very nice Handel floor lamp is made of bronze or brass and consists of a saucer base topped with a clear glass insert, which leads to a plain, tall stem. Bridge lamp extension holds a clear cut glass bowl topped with a single socket. Cloth shade is hand-painted with five panels of trees and one panel with woman in red dress. Shade is signed “Helen Woods 1929”. Base is signed “Handel” with metal tag on socket as well as cloth “Handel Lamps” tag on bottom. SIZE: 56” t. Shade is 9” dia. CONDITION: Some discoloration where cloth is stretched over rim of shade, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-68673 (400-600)
