Twenty-four lithographs, views and costumes. First edition of an extremely rare and collectible bound folio depicting views of Egyptian cities and their surroundings and different costumes of the region. The plates are from two French Orientalist painters. The costume plates are by Alexandre Bida. Each plate is titled in French, Arabic and English. SIZE: 22-1/2″ x 17″. CONDITION: Leather has typical rub wear, foxing to the lithograph plates, mostly on the borders. 9-95018 (5,000-10,000)
