FINE PAIR OF ROSEWOOD LAMINATED SIDE CHAIRS ATTRIBUTED TO JOHN HENRY BELTER, N.Y. C. IN THE “HENRY CLAY” PATTERN. Shaped upholstered back has carved C-scrolls in a shaped back with applied top crest of rose and flowers. The shaped seat has a flower carved seat rail with two front legs having rose carved knees. Full solid back. Upholstered in a satin type light blue and white print fabric, which is appropriate to the chairs. Chairs rest on four brass caster feet. SIZE: 37” h x 16-1/2” seat h x 18” across front. CONDITION: Generally very good. One chair has some chipping to back. 8-87256 (2,500-4,000)
