LARGE 1890S FRENCH BEBE. The head is incised “EDEN BEBE PARIS M”, with huge blue paperweight eyes, closed bee stung mouth, pronounced dimple in chin, pierced ears, and fine facial painting. She is on a Gesland body which has a wire armature frame covered in cloth, with composition shoulder blades and lower limbs. She has been well dressed in a two piece pleated peach silk dress with ecru lace trim, antique white leather boots, and brown dynel wig. SIZE: 27″ (68cm). CONDITION: Bisque head is perfect, some minor repaint to the lower composition limbs. 1-7754 (1,500-2,500)
