*RARE LARGE RING BROOMHANDLE MAUSER SEMI-AUTO PISTOL WITH HOLSTER/STOCK. SN 31108. Cal. 30 Mauser. Usual configuration with 5-1/2″ tapered rnd bbl, barleycorn front sight with 50-1,000 meter rear sight. It has milled panel frame with lightning cuts in slide rails & a large ring hammer with concentric rings around center hole. Fitted with 23-line serrated walnut grips & has a stud & ring in butt. Left side of frame is marked “VON LENGERKE / & DETMOLD / NEW-YORK”. Accompanied by an orig commercial walnut holster/stock with large Mauser banner on back side. Orig attaching iron is unnumbered. PROVENANCE: Dr. Frank Miller Estate Collection. CONDITION: Very fine, all numbered parts are matching including grips. Overall retains about 95-96% strong orig factory blue with muzzle & sharp edge wear & some slight holster wear on bbl. Grips show light to moderate wear with some slight oil staining. Mechanics are crisp, bright bore with some light frosting. Holster/stock is completely sound with light nicks, dings & scratches & retains most of its orig factory varnish. Hinge retains most of its orig blue with attaching iron retaining about 70% orig blue. Altogether a fine rare set. 4-36212 JR300 (4,000-7,000)
