TWO JADE TREES. 20th Century. The first and largest example with hardstone petals set in a jade over hardstone container, polychrome decorated with landscapes. The second, smaller jade tree, mounted in a cloisonne container. SIZE: 1) 18″ h x 14″ w x 10″ d. 2) 13-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: 1) As is most often the case with these objects, there are losses to petals on flower buds. The tree trunk with cracks. 2) With minor losses to petals, otherwise appears good. 9-23213 (800-1,200)
