*L.C. SMITH SPECIALTY GRADE SINGLE BARREL TRAP. SN S26683. Cal. 12ga, 32″ bbl, checkered, ventilated rib, dual ivory sighting beads, FULL choke, 2-3/4″ chamber, single trigger and ejector. Left side over chamber is marked “L.C. SMITH SPECIALTY TRAP”. Chamber end has minimal scroll engraving. Frame is nicely engraved with bold foliate scroll surrounding setter on point on left side, 2 quail in grass on right. Mounted with dark, nicely figured walnut, checkered side panels, checkered pistol grip, hard rubber grip cap, Jostan Anti-Flinch recoil pad, checkered target forend with schnable tip. Bore measurements: Diameter: .727. Restriction: .028. Wall thickness: .035. Drop at heel: 2″. Drop at comb: 1-13/16″. Weight: 8lbs. 3oz. LOP 14-1/2″. CONDITION: Fine. Bbl retains 95% orig blue with faint muzzle wear, some minor nicks & scratches and rub mark from forend. Receiver shows thinning orig colors, mostly in protected areas and blending with a silver patina. Stock is sound with nice checkering, some minor nicks & dings in a professionally cleaned finish with traces of orig varnish and blending with hand-worn patina. Forend is sound with nice checkering, usual nicks & small dings, traces of orig varnish blended with hand-worn patina.
