IDEAL GERMAN FALLING BLOCK FREE PISTOL. Cal. 22. “0” sramped on some internal parts. Fine early pistol with 14-1/2″ tapered oct bbl with barleycorn ramp front sight and fully adjustable target rear sight mounted to the top of the frame. It has a thin, flat sided frame with dbl set triggers and Schutzen style trigger guard/lever with finger rest. It is mounted with a tiny checkered splinter forearm and checkered walnut, freestyle rounded grip with hand and thumb rests. The rests have been added. It has an integral oval butt cap with stud and ring. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl retains about 95-96% strong bright orig blue with small cleaned areas on each side flat by the forearm. Frame retains most of its orig case colors, thin and fading on the left, strong and bright on the right. Lever and floor plate have traces of case colors in the sheltered areas, mostly turned to silver. Forearm is sound and retains most of its orig oil finish showing light wear. Grip, with its added rests, is sound with a hand rubbed patina. Mechanics are crisp. Bright shiny bore. 4-57900 JR315 (1,250-1,750)
