*RARE SPECIAL ORDER WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 45-70. SN 137781. Standard grade carbine with 22″ rnd bbl, square base front sight & carbine ladder rear sight, rare half magazine, case colored receiver with a stud & ring in the left side. It has straight grain American walnut with straight grip & carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Good to very good. Metal overall retains a light smooth even gray/brown patina with traces of case colors in the sheltered areas and one small patch of fine pitting. Wood is sound with a dark oil finish with a couple of very minor storage & handling nicks & scratches and retains most of a restored finish.
