RARE DAISY FIRST MODEL 4TH VARIATION AIR RIFLE. Cal. About 180. NSN. Tiny, early Daisy, all brass construction with pin front sight and cast iron cocking lever marked “DAISY PAT AUG 1889 PLYMOUTH MICH”. It has reinforced frame with skeleton wire stock. Only a few of these first model air rifles were ever produced and very few survive today. CONDITION: About good. Orig nickel plating remains under cocking lever on the main body, otherwise the body & bbl are a smooth, medium, brass patina. Iron stock is heavily pitted and all of the iron is a dark brown patina. Lever is loose but will cock and fire. 4-30796 JR491 (1,500-3,000)
