*FINE COLT PRE-WAR WOODSMAN SEMI-AUTO PISTOL WITH BOX. SN 137743. Cal. 22 LR. Blue finish with 6-5/8″ tapered rnd bbl, adjustable front & rear sights with usual bbl & slide markings and left side of frame marked “THE WOODSMAN”. Mounted with full checkered walnut grips and has one orig all blue magazine with properly marked base. Accompanied by its orig matching numbered dark burgundy hinged lid box with blue & white end label and a black & white top end label marked “TARGET PARTRIDGE SIGHT”. Also accompanied by a large twisted wire handle cleaning brush in its orig paper sleeve and two small brushes with twisted wire handles. Additionally accompanied by an instruction pamphlet, a special instructions pamphlet and shooting suggestions pamphlet. CONDITION: Extremely fine plus. Overall retains virtually all of its fine orig Colt factory finish with a very few scattered tiny pin pricks of surface rust. Magazine is fine showing light wear. Grips are crisp with little or no wear. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore. Box has one broken corner in the lid and another fuzzed corner with a slight depression in the lid, otherwise is completely fine with a slight amount of water staining. 4-39266 JR296 (1,000-2,000)
