*WINCHESTER MODEL 1886 LIGHTWEIGHT TAKE DOWN LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 45-70. SN 127935. Scarce standard grade lightweight rifle with 22″ tapered rnd bbl, rare full magazine with low pedestal mounted ivory bead hunting front sight and modified semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has nicely figured walnut with straight stock and Winchester hard rubber shotgun buttplate. CONDITION: Fine plus. Bbl & magazine tube retain 95-97% strong orig blue with fine light surface rust on the bbl. Receiver retains 25-30% thin blue, flaked to a light patina with some light surface rust. Wood is sound with a few very minor nicks & scratches and retains most of an old restored finish. Good mechanics, brilliant shiny bore. 4-54891 JR219 (4,000-6,000
