Cal. 16ga, 28″ bbls, checkered, tapered, concave rib, single brass sighting bead, IMP.CYL/FULL chokes, 2-9/16″ chambers, extractor and dbl triggers. Right bbl over chamber is marked “L.C. SMITH IDEAL GRADE” and left “HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. M’F’R’S FULTON, N.Y., U.S.A.” The feather weight frame is marked on each plate “L.C. SMITH”, zig-zag border and bold floral scroll with shaded background. Mounted with nice straight grain walnut, checkered pistol grip, hard rubber grip cap, serrated hard rubber buttplate, checkered splinter forend with ebony tip insert. Bore diameter: left -.652, right -.650. Bore restrictions: left -.020, right -.008. Wall thickness: left -.042, right -.042. Drop at heel:2-13/16″ , drop at comb:1-5/8″ . Weight: 6lbs. 8oz. LOP 14″. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as gun appears test-fired only. Bbls retain 98-99% orig blue, slight fading at muzzle and chamber end, and some minor handling marks. Receiver retains 98% dark orig case colors starting to thin on sharp edges and across bottom. Stock is sound with sharp checkering, a few minor handling marks and retains its orig finish. Forend is sound with sharp checkering, a few minor handling marks and retains its orig finish.
