BURGUN & SCHVERER CAMEO & ENAMELED VASE. Magnificent B & S vase has center cameo medallion of Hellas playing a lute with a banner encircling the top of the medallion with “Echoes of Hellas”. Figure is nicely enameled with blues in his robe and skin tones. Back of vase has diagonal band of cameo cut animals including rabbits, boars and lions. Rest of vase is decorated with cameo and enamel clovers, flowers and geometric designs. Vase is finished with two applied amber handles with cameo design. Signed on underside with thistle and Cross of Lorraine mark as well as “Verrerie D’Art de Lorraine B S & Co depose”. SIZE: 6-3/4” t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-63979 (8,500-10,000)
