FINE JAPANESE IVORY CARVING OF PEKINGESE. Late 19th Century, Japanese. Depicting a Pekingese with ribbon bow tie frolicking on its back, all four paws extended with abalone eyes. Signed on bottom of base. SIZE: 2-1/2″ h x 3-1/2″ l. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Very good overall with nice color and patina. 9-23306 (600-700)
