DESIRE CHRISTIAN WHEEL CARVED VASE. Fantastic Desire Christian vase has wheel carved flowers, leaves, stems and buds against a background of mottled cream, amber and green. The interesting vase appears somewhat dark when unlit and shows primarily the interesting flow of colors. When the vase is lit, the flowers and leaves come alive with rich purples and lavender and blue veining in the central leaf. A truly fine work of art. Signed on the side with etched “Christian”. Underside of vase is martele around the polished pontil. There is an original paper label within the polished pontil reading “D. Christian & Sohn Meisenthal”. SIZE: 4-1/8” t.
