*WINCHESTER HIGH WALL TAKEDOWN WINDER MUSKET. Cal. 22 LR. SN 118570. Standard grade rifle with 29” rnd bbl, pedestal mounted globe front sight, the rear sight has been removed and it has a windgage Lyman locking base tang sight. The wood is straight grain American walnut with full length grasping groove forearm with nosecap and one band with integral sling loop. It has a corresponding loop in the buttstock. It has straight stock with carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Bbl retains 95-96% strong bright original blue. Takedown ring has flaked to gray patina. Receiver retains about 95% original blue with some surface etching and minor scratches. Wood is sound with light handling and use marks and retains most of its original finish. Hammer does not cock on closing; otherwise mechanics are fine with brilliant shiny bore. 4-52862 JR471 (1,000-2,000)
