DANIEL F. WENTWORTH (American, 1850-1934) AUTUMN SPLENDOR. Outstanding oil on canvas fall scene shows a tall oak tree with reddish/orange foliage surrounded by grass covered and rock strewn hillside. Other colorful trees are seen around under blue and white cloud sky. One of this artist’s best works. Signed lower left. Housed in an original gilt carved wood frame. SIZE: 18” x 24”.
