SALESMAN SAMPLE ROAD GRADER WITH ORIGINAL CARRYING CASE. A phenomenal engineering accomplishment, especially in miniature. The Adams Leaning Wheel Grader so named because of the front and back wheels that adjust with the turn of a crank for turning purposes when pulled behind a team of horses or oxen. It features a vast array of working levers and gears allowing for a full range of movement of the blade. Retains original brass plaques on both sides identifying J.D. Adams & Co of Indianapolis. Complete with stiff leather carrying case with original name plaque, fitted with canvas belt and various accessories of unknown purpose. SIZE: 22” l x 7” w. CONDITION: Grader is in very good condition. Case is sound, shows overall wear with some water stains. 1-8682 APT (13,000-15,000)
