25 1/2” JDK 214 KESTNER DOLL. Head is incised “K. MADE IN GERMANY. 14. JDK. 214.” Doll has blue glass sleep eyes, lower painted lashes, open mouth with four teeth, on original fully jointed body stamped “GERMANY 5.” Wearing period white cotton dress with lace collar and sleeves, possibly original dark blonde mohair wig and black oilcloth shoes. CONDITION: Bisque is very good; hands repainted, remainder of body retains original finish. RS 1-3355 (500-700)
