TWO MINIATURE PAINTINGS ON IVORY. 1) Shoulder length portrait of a young woman with flat brown hair and blue eyes. Housed in a square modern frame with white matte. SIGHT SIZE: 2” x 2”. 2) Young boy with black coat and yellow and green print vest. He has curly hair and blue eyes. Identified on back as William Hathorne, age 13 years, June 12, 1815. Housed in a small oval gilt frame. SIGHT SIZE: 2-1/2” x 2”. CONDITION: Some flaking to black coat on #2, otherwise very good. 9-70685-1 (300-500)
