SPECTACULAR EARLY 20TH CENTURY GERMAN TALLY-HO. Of large proportions this handsome tin Tally-Ho style coach has a pair of hide covered horses mounted upon a wheeled wooden base pulling the carriage. The horses are complete with a multitude of leather trappings (replacements) which attach to the carriages yoke and reins for the driver. On the underside of the wooden base is the original F.A.O. Schwarz label that is still intact. The carriage itself is olive green and black with gilded pin striping and paint simulated wooden decking. Tufted yellow satin seating, carriage lamps, and opening doors to the interior cabin further enhance the appeal of this behemoth toy. SIZE: Carriage measures 19″ l x 11-1/2″ h. Horses measure 12″ l x 10″ h. CONDITION: Overall very fine plus condition with no apparent repairs or repainting to carriage, possible replacement side lamps. 1-9394 (9,000-12,000)
