PAIR OF CAMEO CUT OVERLAY VASES. Spectacular pair of vases has central band of cameo cut classical figures with cherubs, chariots and musicians all finished in fine gold gilt. Cameo is all done against an etched green glass background. Below the cameo panel are vertical ribs cut from dark amber to green. The vases are finished with gilt trim on the lip. Work is very reminiscent of fine Val St. Lambert or Baccarat. SIZE: 12 in. t. CONDITION: A few very, very minor fleabites to edge of cutting, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-61279 (1,500-2,000)
