UNSIGNED (Austrian, First half of the 20th Century) FLEEING WITH THE MAIDEN. Polychrome bronze shows a running horse with Native American holding a nude maiden. Unsigned but marked in the casting “Austria”. SIZE: 7″ h x 12″ l. PROVENANCE: From a fine Quincy, Massachusetts home. CONDITION: Good with some loss to polychrome decoration and appears to have had a weapon in clenched fist which is missing. 9-23927 (500-1,000)
