FUNK MARTINI SCHUETZEN RIFLE. No serial number visible, approx. Cal. 30 (probably 8.15 x 46 mm). 29-3/4” oct bbl with rib for sight. Marked in gold “CHRISTOPH FUNK IN SUHL” on top of the bbl. The action, including the trigger guard and the buttplate, are engraved with gold and silver wire inlaid in the vines. The sights are replaced and ramrod is missing. CONDITION: 90% thinning dull blue on the bbl. Gray patina on the balance of the metal. Buttstock shows much damage to the varnish on the right side and has dents and scratches on both.
