ZSOLNAY SECESSIONIST VASE. Outstanding Zsolnay vase has impressionistic design of a green, slightly iridescent waterfall with blue iridescent mountains in the background and a red sky. Backside of the vase has a subtle line of blue iridescent stylized flowers. Marked on the underside with applied circle which is nearly unreadable but can make out “Zsolnay Pecs”. SIZE: 10-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: A gift to the Maine State Museum being sold to benefit the museum’s acquisition fund. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with one small flaw in glaze in red sky. 5-61605 (1,000-1,500)
