FINE SET OF TWELVE SERVICE PLATES BY MINTON’S. Circa 1891-1902. Bottoms marked “H3986”. Also marked with retailer “Ovington’s New York”. These elegant plates have a white center with a 2-1/2” deep red and gold embossed design. There is heavy use of gold on both rim and inner areas. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (FW Woolworth Dept. Store).SIZE: 10-1/2” dia. CONDITION: Very good, no chips, cracks and few if any knife marks. 9-28116 (800-1200)
