*UNMARKED GERMAN HAMMERLESS SINGLE SHOT PISTOL. Cal. 22. SN 2227. Unusual flat-side, hammerless, tip-up action with 8-3/4” tapered oct bbl, bead front sight and tiny original adjustable rear sight. The receiver is completely flat sided with light arabesque pattern engravings and marked “PAT. ANG.” This is believed to stand for English patents. It has single set trigger and the trigger guard, with finger rest, serves as the opening lever. It has angled bag shaped grip with checkered walnut panels. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains most of a professionally restored finish. Bottom of the grip frame has a patch of rust, apparently from an old piece of tape. Action is fine, strong dark bore. 4-51306 JR950 (500-800)
