PLIQUE A JOUR PIN BOX. Wonderful silver pin box is decorated with plique a jour enamel. Body of the box has a center band of with three leaf clovers surrounded by flowing vines and leaves. Central band is bordered on top and bottom with a wavy band of plique a jour enamel in turquoise and chartreuse. Background behind the three leaf clovers alternates between mauve and cream. The round top has an intricate floral stylized floral design within alternating teardrop shaped panels of chartreuse and pink. Panels are outlined by beautiful royal blue enamel which in turn is bordered by a looping design in orange and cream. Silver box is marked on underside “900”. SIZE: 1-3/4″ dia. CONDITION: Some minor hairlines to plique a jour on side of box, otherwise very good to excellent. 5-69494 (400-600)
