GOOD ANTIQUE RUNNING HORSE WEATHERVANE. Copper vane with outstretched tail and all legs off the ground. Zinc ears and nice green weathered patina. PROVENANCE: Rankin Estate, Annapolis, Maryland. Purchased in Spring City, Pennsylvania. SIZE: 15-3/4” h x 30” l. CONDITION: Very good. Appears to be an old weld where vertical post meets horizontal post. Two bullet holes above front leg and repaired bullet hole to back. Possible repair at juncture of tail. Some remnants of a later mustard color paint. 9-29705 MD (2,500-3,500)
