FINE HAND-PAINTED OVAL TOLE TRAY. Circa 1945. Depicting an exotic bird perched within a floral spray, bordered by scrolling floral sprigs. Signed on the back “Decorated in Cornish, N.H. in 1945 – by Blanche Wood”. SIZE: 24″ x 19-1/4″. PROVENANCE: From an East Sangerville, Maine private collection, by descent from Jean Davidson Fay to the present owner, a daughter. The tray was a wedding present from the artist. CONDITION: Very fine overall. 9-94953 (300-400)
