PATENT MODEL: CHEESE SAFE BY E.L. PRATT. Original patent tag #35,165, dated August 16, 1859. All metal model, the base is a flat plate with three cast feet. The base is pierced and holds a grill-type tray. The lid is a dome with protruding pierced handle. SIZE: 7-1/4″ t. x 6-1/4″ dia. CONDITION: Some paint touch-up and repair to one of the feet, otherwise generally very good. 1-1486 (200-400)
