MOSER DECORATED JEWELRY CASKET. Beautiful amethyst glass is decorated with an enameled leaf pattern in pink, rose, blue, yellow and green with gold gilt highlighting to lid and body of casket. Decoration is further enhanced with applied glass acorns to top of lid. Casket is further decorated with ornate brass metalwork which includes two handles and four metal feet. A similar example is pictured in the book Ludwig (Ludvik) Moser King of Glass by Mural K. Charon, pg. 80, plate 160. SIZE: 4-3/4″ x 4-1/2″ x 3″. CONDITION: Overall good with base of casket having chip to one corner. Minor wear overall to gold gilt and missing key. 5-66116 (2,000-3,000)
