1870’S BLONDE PARIAN DOLL. Parian shoulder head doll with molded and painted features with well mottled hair showing detailed comb marks. The cafe au lait hair is parted in the center with soft wavy curls which cover the ears with twelve vertical curls in the back reaching the neckline. She is on a stuffed muslin body which is jointed at the hips and knees with heavy white leather forearms and well defined fingers. She has been well redressed in a 2 piece lavender pleated dress with matching jacket and has an antique opal necklace in Art Nouveau design. SIZE: 27″ (69cm).
