WESTERN-SHIPPED SHARPS MEACHAM CONVERSION RIFLE. SN C48385. Cal. .45/70. 28” rnd bbl. In addition to the standard Sharps marking on the bbl, this one is marked “FROM W.F. SHEARD LIVINGSTON MONT”. CONDITION: Gray patina with light to heavy pitting overall. Bbl is battered around the rear sight. Buttstock has been broken and repaired and does not fit the action well. It has been sanded and refinished. There is a trace of casehardening below the hammer on the lockplate. Action is good. Classic western “Buffalo Gun”. 4-53878 (3,000-5,000)
