ARTHUR LINGQUIST (American, 1889-1975) “WHITE FARMHOUSE”. Oil on canvas scene shows Vermont landscape with white farmhouse and connected barns with fall foliage coloring. Signed lower right. Housed in a fine gilt molded wood frame with linen liner. Lingquist is best known for his Vermont subjects but also painted the coast of Maine and around Rocky Neck on Cape Ann where he spent many summers. SIZE: 10” x 12”. CONDITION: Craquelure.
