GIRARD FIRE CHIEF COUPE IN ORIGINAL BOX. USA. A new old stock example of this desirable mid-30s three window coupe featuring wind-up mechanism and siren sound. Front and rear battery operated lights. Brightly finished in red enamel over pressed steel with nickel-plated grill. Rear folding luggage rack. Steerable front end with all rubber tires marked “Girard Balloon”. Rare sleeve-type original box shows coupe whizzing to scene of fire. SIZE: 14″ l. CONDITION: Unused toy is in near excellent working condition. Decals are 100%. Lights and wiring are complete but sporadic. Box sleeve has water stain, overall good. 1-9250 (600-800)
