15 1/2” GAULTIER BEBE INCISED “F.6.G.” DOLL. On wood and composition, eight ball joint body with straight wrists, stamped “JUMEAU MEDAILLE D’OR PARIS.” Lovely F.G. bebe with pale bisque, close mouth with white space between lips, desirable block letter markings, bulbous pale blue paperweight eyes, well painted blonde feathered eyebrows. Doll is appropriately redressed in silver brocade with lace and strawberry colored velvet trim. Elaborately braided brown wig over original cork pate and antique white leather shoes with replaced soles. CONDITION: Repaired eye flake inside corner of left eye, miniscule eye flake in outer corner of left eye, small pit mark in center of forehead, body of same period is appropriately sized with head but obvious marriage, forearms are repainted.
