MAJOLICA GARDEN SEAT. Eight sided seat has panels that color from a light green to dark brown and are decorated with profiles of notable men. One appears to be Stanley or Livingston. The octagon molded edge top has a hole in the center and decorative stars in ovals and circles. An impressed “N” on the back side of a foot. An unusual form in nice color. PROVENANCE: Estate of Maria M. Viveiros, New Bedford, Massachusetts. SIZE: 19-3/4” h x 14” dia. CONDITION: Generally good, 2” firing crack can be seen on inside of base. 9-28791 (300-500)
