GROUP OF SIX CANTON SERVING DISHES. 19th century. Comprising an oval well-n-tree platter, an oval reticulated serving platter, an oval chestnut basket with handles, a shallow bowl with scalloped edges, a shaped vegetable serving dish and an undertray. All with typical decoration in blue and white underglaze. SIZE: 1) 17-3/4″ x 13-1/2″ 2) 11″ x 9-3/4″ 3) 3-1/2″ h x 7″ l x 5-3/4″ w. 4) 9-1/4″ dia. 5) 9-1/2″ x 10″ 6) 7-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: 1) Very good overall. 2) 3/4″ chip to rim at end of platter. 3) With minor firing cracks inside. 4)Very good. 5) Very good. 6) With hairline crack at corner of side. 9-23282 (1,000-1,500)
